My paradise..!

My place was once a paradise,

A place of blooming flowers and the brightest sunrise.

I heard the birds sing, I saw the children smile,

Purity everywhere, nothing evil nor anything wile.

A tight bond was always present,

May it be a bonding by blood, or a bond of friendliness just from another god-sent.

Happiness was all around,

People being content with their lot, never any greed and no one crossing the bound.

Women were widely respected, they were treated divine,

There was never any chauvinism, never did She have to whine.

Rulers were altruistic, they were always humane,

Peace and prosperity flourished, there never was any autocratic feign.

This was my land, my home, my paradise,

But, now its all changed, its an epidemy of evil that prevails, vile laughs and internal cries.

All the glory is now lost,

Gluttony everywhere, hearts no more benevolent, they are cold and they are frost.

The flowers no longer bore a smile,

Sorcery prevailed, people and friends started to beguile.

All the purity now gone astray,

Happiness deserted the streets, it is cannibalism everywhere with people ready to slay.

The Women are no more paid any respect,

They are brutally raped, killed, their uteruses thrown away, the ethics now wrecked.

A ruler- no more is a leader,

All he cares is money and position, never did he attend to any bleeder.

All the bonds are now broken,

No one to give a helping hand nor to soothe a pain unspoken.

Its now a new world all of a sudden,

A new world- always very dark, always painfully sullen.

My land is no more a paradise,

Neither will the flowers bloom nor will there be any bright sunrise.

This poem is dedicated to the society that I live in, in fact a society which we all live in.The poem is a result of a outrage that occurred within me on knowing about a brutal rape on a 23 year old in my country (India). The girl pleaded, “Mom, I want to live!” during her brave battle with death for nearly 15 days and later took her final breath due to severe damage within the internal organs.I see articles on brutal rapes and assaults on women nearly every morning in the newspapers. My country also witnessed the biggest scams ever that were made by the politicians which accounted for huge sums of money that would wipe out the poverty of the whole world.  Yet,justice was never brought out afore people. Neither in the case of those scamsters nor to the young girl. The rapists are safe and secure in highly facilitated prisons, so are the politicians resting in their air conditioned rooms boasting about ruling 1.2 billion people. This is the society I live in.This is about my country,my home land-India.

P.S : If at all you are a foreigner, please don’t ever come to India. Its a mess in here. The heritage and fame that this country holds is restricted to the books only.

And, I ain’t protesting against any system or any thing. I find no point in doing so. Its only about all those flurry of thoughts that I felt within me!

A Companion for Life

Life may hit you very hard,

Bitter experiences may leave your soul scarred,

There may be times when your heart may feel marred.

What do you do then?Where shall your comfort lie?

Is it beyond those distant mountains? Or beyond the highest sky?

Who is there to wipe off those tears when you relentlessly cry?

Is there an answer? Or does it always remain an unsuccessful try?

Yes indeed there is always a fellow person,

A comrade,A friend, A companion who never lets it worsen.

He lends you his hand,He lends you his shoulder,

He wipes off your tears and he extinguishes the smolder

He makes you laugh, He puts you to sleep,

He helps you walk,He powers you into a leap.

You need not search him far,You need not call him loud,

His word is always with you,you may be alone or amongst a crowd.

He is a friend,He is a father and He is YOU,

He walks you along your life,He is your army,He is your crew.

In the Mirror..!

Life may present you with gifts and happiness,Life may hurt you with pain and injuries. At the end of the day, whatever you may be or whatever position your life may lead you into, the one big person that should matter to you the most is the person you see in the mirror when you stand afore it.

After each victory you achieve just ask the person in the mirror “Do you deserve your victory over others?” , and in case if you are in pain at any point of time..ask the person in the mirror “Did you give your best shot in trying to endure the pain?”

The answers that you get to each of these questions are the one’s that help you mould your life into what you really want it to be. I shall again say “THE PERSON IS THE MIRROR REPRESENTS YOUR SOUL AND IS YOUR REAL COUNSELOR AND NO ONE ELSE CAN AID YOU BETTER THAN WHAT HE DOES”

Do you call it Rejection..??

Rejection..??

There goes a little girl,
Dancing with her little feet, making a petty twirl.
A princess in her father’s eyes,
Always her mother’s perfect prize.

She grew up and she bloomed high,
She resembled a shining star even in the darkest sky.
She made her people happy, she made them smile,
She made the air pure, never was there any vile.

Now,she made many new friends,
She felt a tight bond, never existed any loose ends.
She had a belief,she lent a trust,
Never did she realize that she would bear a thrust.

Her friends now broke the bond,
They had their good time with her,now each of them made their abscond.
The corner in the circle was now felt,
Many may be the people around her,the pain always overwhelmingly melt.

Now, what do you call all this??
Rejection??Oh no no,there is always the never ending nature’s bliss.
Whoever may or may not be in your life,
Some people always bear your every abject strife.

A mother, a father, a friend they are,
Though you never tried to make a bond, they are never too far.
For you,are they, always seeking your happiness,
Oh, don’t you feel rejected, don’t you take a stress.
You were never alone all this time,
Its only that you never tuned yourself to hear that chime.

Your people are only those,
Who not only pat over on your high’s but also the people who lend a hand during your lows.

Those Memories…

Those Memories

Those fine memories revving by,
little things that made me happy, and the brittle things that made me cry.
i was alone and there were none,
neither a shoulder to pry nor an enemy to shun.

There were all those little showers of glory,
Yet those ugly overwhelming darkest passing clouds filled most of the story.
the inner rage was mounting through,
never did i show,the listeners none,not even a few.

then appeared a hand that helped me cross,
through all those barriers, straight and gross.
the hand always gave an honest smile,
Oh yes i knew it was true and meant no guile.

It never spoke a lot i must say,
But everything it portrayed suggested it would forever stay.
Easy seemed all those ridges which i couldn’t even pass,
Oh you overwhelming solitude, how does it feel to be at loss??

Forever may be misery, hitherto may be pain,
I know the hand shall be there without any regret or a refrain.

Are We The Same??

Are We The Same??

I once took a walk,
Glanced hear and there with a steady stalk.
Saw may people crave on the floor,
Then saw many a more slumber with a snore.
Some seemed assiduous at work,
Many others dispensed a false smirk.
Weren’t we made the same?
Then why’d some bear shame when the others rose to fame?
What made the difference?
Was it the poor’s ignorance or the superior’s dominance?
Whatever may it be,
Self aplomb is the only key.
For the ignorant to rise to glory,
And for the superior to never give up into the eerie.
Trust your soul,
Dream your goal.
Whoever you are, whatever you may be,
Make a wish and ever let it free.
Strive hard,strive harder,
There is no class rich or poor nor any hierarchical order.
Raise your bar and aim for the sky,
Victory shall be yours, life shall be spry !!
